Three new brands that’ll make you look forward to fall

A new season, a new beginning… Avenue introduces you to three new brands that’ll actually make you excited for fall. No more travelling the world to hunt down Opening Ceremony, Les Benjamins or White Mountaineering pieces. We’re bringing them to Antwerp!

The cold months are coming closer and everyone is dreading them. Any benefits of the season changing? Fashion enthusiasts can express their love for layering again. Avenue provides you with the perfect addition pieces for your fall-winter wardrobe with the next three brands.

OPENING CEREMONY

Most fashion enthusiasts are probably familiar with this New York brand. In 2002 the clothing brand and retailer Opening Ceremony was founded by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon who on this day are also creative directors for the colourful clothing brand Kenzo. Their in-house brand that already made important collaborations with brands like Pendleton and Maison Martin Margiela is now available in our store and on our webshop. Fancy some checks, bright colours or fluffy mini bags? Opening Ceremony is the way to go!

LES BENJAMINS

This streetwear brand based in Istanbul represents the world’s vibrant culture, dynamic variations and explosive colours. The founder Bunyamin Aydin translates the history of traditions and rituals into garments. The pieces are a mixture of culture, comfort, texture and print. You might have spotted the brand in our store before with their Puma collaboration. But from this season, we sell Les Benjamins’ own collection that consists of colourful pieces and expressive prints.

WHITE MOUNTAINEERING

Outerwear is the new daywear and they’ve been loving the trend in Japan for a while now. White Mountaineering is one of the most important brands following this philosophy. Japanese designer Yosuke Aizawa started out as Junya Watanabe’s protégée who was then working at COMME des GARÇONS. When Yosuke finally started his own brand, he mixed three concepts: design, utility and technology to create a unique clothingline. We can already give away that we also will be stocking up on the White Mountaineering X Eastpack and Millet collaborations later in the season. Stay tuned!
